Kathmandu. The crowd of passengers has increased at Tribhuvan International Airport due to the increase in the number of air passengers due to incessant rains and road blockade in various places. The number of passengers choosing air travel to reach the destination has increased due to problems in transportation by road.

With the increase in the number of passengers, the check-in, security check and boarding areas at the airport have also been crowded. Due to the impact on weather and air traffic management, most of the flights have been delayed than scheduled.

Passengers have been forced to wait at the airport for a long time due to the delay in flights. Especially passengers going home for festivals and traveling for essential work have been affected.

Airlines have urged passengers to come to the airport only after taking information about the latest status of the flights from the concerned airlines.
