Kathmandu. Nepal LP Gas Industry ( has said that there will be no shortage of gas in Kathmandu. Claiming that the supply of gas is regular,the association has said that there will be no shortage of gas in Kathmandu.
Stating that the supply of LP Gas (LPG)for cooking in the Kathmandu Valley is being regularized at present, the Association has urged the consumers not to hoard LPG unnecessarily.
Although there was a problem in the supply of LPG cylinders through bullets due to the obstruction of the Prithvi Highway due to floods, the cylinders of the industries in Kathmandu, Kavre and Dhading were supplied to Kathmandu by refilling to the factories in Bara, Parsa, Chitwan, Dhanusha and Nawalparasi.
At present, there is a demand for around 40,000 cylinders of gas in Kathmandu daily. The Association has stated that cylinders are being distributed in Kathmandu as per the demand for the last three days and in the coming days, additional cylinders will be refilled and regular supply will be maintained.
Similarly, has reminded that the supply and sale of LP gas has been continued in the past even during the crisis such as earthquake, blockade and COVID-1 9 pandemic in the past.
