NIC ASIA Capital Announces 50% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu. The 10th Annual General Meeting of NIC Asia Capital Limited has been concluded. The meeting was held on Friday, September 26 at the Registered Office of the Capital, Thapathali, Kathmandu.

The AGM passed the report of the Board of Directors for the financial year 2082/083 BS as well as the annual financial statements including balance sheet, profit or loss account and cash flow statement up to the end of Ashadh 2083. The Board of Directors also approved a proposal to distribute cash dividend at the rate of 50 percent of the paid-up capital (including tax) as proposed by the Board of Directors.

Mr. Rupesh Luitel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, informed that the company with a paid-up capital of Rs 200 million has earned Rs 28.98 crore and has earned a net profit of Rs 10.51 crore in the review period.

Similarly, the company has been able to open more than 863,000 demat accounts till mid-Ashad 2083, managed more than Rs 7 billion through 6 schemes including 4 closed-oriented and two open-ended schemes under mutual fund service, managed more than Rs 3 billion from 710 clients under investment management services, has been providing services to 24 companies under share registrar service and has completed the issuance of 25 companies under ‘Idea to IPO’ service.

In addition, the company has been able to distribute 340% return to its shareholders, including the dividend proposed at its 10th Annual General Meeting.
