Kathmandu. The process of collecting financial assistance for the flood victims of the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa is continuing.

So far, the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund and the Prime Minister Relief Fund have over Rs 15.5 billion in deposit.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund currently has deposits of Rs 11.63 billion in nine commercial banks and $25.44 million in the dollar accounts of Himalayan Bank and Laxmi Sunrise Bank. There is a total of Rs 15.53 billion in deposits in all the accounts.

The government has already released Rs one billion from the fund for flood-affected areas.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Rs 207.256 million has been deposited in the fund in the last 24 hours.
