Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has decided to keep the price of petroleum products unchanged. The corporation has decided to keep the price of petroleum products unchanged for the time being, considering the current situation after the increase in the price of petroleum products in the international market.
According to the corporation, the price of petrol from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is Rs per liter 3.34, diesel 4.33, kerosene 10.19, aviation fuel 4.96 and LP{{{TAG_CLOSE_span_10} Gas per cylinder 35.62 per cent.
However, in view of the situation created by the floods in Bhotekoshi, the corporation has decided to keep the price of petroleum products unchanged with effectfrom September 1.
According to the NOC, the corporation will incur a loss of Rs 1.24 billion on a fortnightly basis even if the retail price of petroleum products remains unchanged.
