The UK Home Office suspended the university’s licence on September 30.

After the suspension of , the British government has also removed the university from the list of licensed sponsors . Hundreds of students, including Nepalis, have been in trouble in the UK after the license itself was suspended.

There are currently about two hundred andfifty Nepali students studying in the university.

Even if the university’s sponsor license is suspended, the students who have a valid visa will be able to continue their studies during the suspension period. However, if the student’s visa is canceled after the license is revoked, they will have to apply for a new visa by finding a new education provider and sponsor within 60 days. Students who do not find a new sponsor within the stipulated period will have to leave the UK. Nepali students complain that this concern has increased the problem.

However, the UK Home Office has given 20 days to submit an explanation if they are not satisfied with their decision. Even after that, there is no guarantee that the suspension will be lifted or not, adding to the anxiety among the students.
