Kathmandu. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and its subordinate offices will be open during the upcoming Dashain holidays as well.

These offices will be operated to receive complaints of human rights violations and to monitor the incidents of emergency nature.

Spokesperson of the commission, Dr Tikaram Pokharel, said that the central, provincial and branch offices of the commission will remain open from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on holidays as well. According to him, these offices for emergency purposes will remain open during this period.
