Kathmandu. Global IME Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) Deepchandra has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held on Tuesday decided to appoint Regmi to the DCEO .

Regmi was previously serving as the Assistant CEO of Global IME Bank and was appointed as the DC EO of the bank.

Regmi, who started his career in 2007 through Standard Chartered Bank , has been associated with Global IME Bank since 2009.

He has also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Credit Officer (CLO) and Head of Trade Finance. He has also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global IME Capital Limited, a subsidiary of the bank.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business (AIT) from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and Copenhagen BusinessSchool, Denmark.
