Kathmandu. Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prabhu Bank has been sent to jail. The Patan High Court has ordered that former CEO Ashok Sherchan be sent to jail for trial.

On Tuesday, the High Court had demanded bail of Rs 15 million in one case and ordered to send Sherchan to jail for trial in other cases.

He will remain in custody pending the final conclusion of the case.
