Kathmandu. Gas Dealers Federation of Nepal Nepal has asked the Nepal Oil Corporation to stop the retail sale of gas. Submitting the memorandum , the Federation has asked the Corporation to stop the retail sale of gas.
The FNCCI has also drawn the attention of the corporation to immediately stop the retail sale of LPG from industries and to make arrangements for the sale and distribution only through dealers.
Similarly, the Federation has objected to the retail sale of gas saying that there is a shortage of gas due to the current shortage of gas cylinders in the market.
The Federation has expressed doubts on the working style of the corporation and the government, saying that the corporation and the government have become mute spectators even when the gas industries are selling new cylinders from Rs 2500 to Rs 2700.
Similarly, The Federation hasbrought a plan to sell new cylinders of 5 kg, 19 kg, 50 kg and 450 kg in the coming years with the intention of looting the general consumers instead of refunding the deposit amount of cylinders in the market.
