NIC ASIA Bank Accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay Payment Service for the First Time in Nepal

Kathmandu. NIC ASIA Bank’s e-commerce payment gateway merchant customers can now receive payments easily through Visa and MasterCard users under Apple Pay and Google Pay for the first time in Nepal.

With the objective of making digital payment system more modern, convenient and secure, the bank’s cyber-source payment gateway customers can accept payments from Apple Pay and Google Pay users across the globe through their e-commerce platforms.

Apple Pay and Google Pay are globally recognized mobile-based payment methods. In which international customers will be able to pay in a simple way by removing the hassle of using the card physically and tokenizing their card details on Apple and Google Android mobiles.

This service will enable merchants of hotels, tours & travels, handicrafts, airlines, e-commerce, IT sectors to take payments from international customers through Apple Pay and Google Pay, the bank’s e-commerce payment gateway, Cybersource.

This facility will help Nepali businesses to provide a more convenient and familiar payment experience for international customers. It is expected to expand cross-border trade and unlock the potential of earning foreign exchange, especially for businesses that receive payments from international customers such as tourism and hospitality, travel, e-commerce, IT sector, goods exporters, etc.

This payment service, launched for the first time in Nepal, will make payment services more convenient and simple, support the business of merchant customers, make payments simple and secure, and will also contribute positively to Nepal’s tourism promotion, adding a new dimension to the country’s economy and inter-country payments.
