Number of industries dismantled in Jumla, 180 industries shut down in a year

Jumla. The number of industries being scrapped has increased in Jumla in recent times. In the fiscal year 2082/83, there were 180 industries for liquidation, 188 for registration and 334 for renewal, according to Tanka Prasad Neupane, chief of the Industry and Consumer Welfare Protection Office.

Similarly, 61 industries have been registered under the commercial sector. There have been 58 industries under renewal and 52 under the repeal. According to Neupane, about 16.25 lakh revenue has been collected under various headings in this fiscal year.

As of August of the current fiscal year, 43 new industries have been registered. There have been 119 renewals, five have been canceled.

According to Neupane, 11 industries have been registered in the commercial sector. The number of new industries registered in the district has decreased in recent times. The number of industries being scrapped is increasing.

According to the Office for the Protection of Industry and Consumer Interests, the number of industries registered in the office has been decreasing for the past four years and the number of those who have been scrapped is increasing. According to the office, the industries registered are in the production, agriculture and forestry, service, tourism, construction and information communication technology.
