During the monitoring carried out by the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control, 2,232 bottles of 650 ml of Hin wa and 66 packets of 4 were found to contain sludge inside the wine.

Similarly, 420 bottles of 650 ml each of 650 ml wine produced by the same supplier were also found to have accumulated sludge in the same suppliers, said an official of the department who participated in the monitoring.

The sale and distribution of the wines have been stopped immediately after the sludge was found in the wines, while samples have been collected for further quality testing.

The officials involved in the monitoring have said that the consumption of such a substance found in the wine can have a serious impact on the health of the citizens. How harmful? The official said that this will be known after the sample test.
