Artha Sarokar

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has said that those misusing confidential information of the state will be brought to book.

Home Minister Gurung has said that he has been observing the tendency of any office-bearer or employee of the Ministry of Home Affairs and its subordinate bodies to leak the confidential or sensitive information to the unauthorized person or agency, forgetting their official status.

“The sensitive information of the state is not anyone’s private property, it is a public responsibility,” he wrote on social media, “The post gives access to information, but does not give the right to misuse.” Even the smallest information, clues or secret information received here play a decisive role in preventing crime, advancing investigations, or establishing the truth of any serious incident in the future. ‘

Home Minister Gurung made it clear that anyone deliberately betraying the country and organisation by exceeding the privacy handed over by the state would be brought to book.

“Anyone who deliberately betrays their country and organisation on the secrecy entrusted to them by the state will not get any immunity and will be brought to book,” he said. ‘
