Traffic police take action against 284 ‘errant drivers’ for disobeying rules in the tunnel

Kathmandu.More than 200 drivers have been taken action for violating traffic rules on the Nagdhunga tunnel. The Valley Traffic Police Office has taken action against 284 drivers for violating the rules inside the tunnel.

According to the Traffic Police, action has been taken against the drivers who overtook on the tunnel, drove the vehicle atover-speed, blowing horns unnecessarily and obstructing the road.

In this way, vehicles at more than 40 speeds are not allowed to drive and overtake on the tunnel route. The traffic police said that even though the driver was reminded while entering the tunnel way, had to take action after {{} started violating the rules.

The traffic police have also urged the people to follow the traffic rules and take precautions, saying there is a high risk of accident due to violation of the rule in the tunnel way.
