Kathmandu. Chairman of Nepal Micro Insurance Company Ashish Shrestha has been arrested.

A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Tuesday arrested him from Kageshwori Manohara area for investigation under the Insurance Act, 2079.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shiva Kumar Shrestha said that Shrestha was arrested for investigation into the alleged offence related to clause (6) of Section 140 of the Insurance Act with the involvement of Nepal Micro Insurance Company.
