Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Labour Court has ordered the government to provide perks and perks to journalists of Gorkha Media Network Pvt Ltd. A division bench of Labor Court Chairman Janak Pandey and member Shailendra Kumar Chaurasiya issued the verdict today.

As many as 94 journalists of the now-defunct Gorkha Media have not received their salaries for a year.

Journalists Basu Khadka and Gautam Regmi have filed a writ petition demanding remuneration and perks to pay and perks as per the law. 

Gitendra Babu Rai (GB Rai) is currently absconding. Rabi Lamichhane, president of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), is being investigated on the charge of misappropriating money through the same media.
