Kathmandu. Police have arrested two persons on the charge of cheating money on the pretext of sending them abroad. Police have arrested two persons on the charge of cheating unemployed youths with lucrative salary.
The arrestees have been identified as Godavari Municipality Ward No. The deceased have been identified as Aayush Karki, 25, of Ward No. 12 and Kiran Tamrakar, 27, of Adarsha Rural Municipality of Doti district. A police team deputed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested them on April 5.
According to the police, Karki had taken Rs 18.90 lakh from one person to send him to Serbia and Tamrakar had taken Rs 300,000 from one person to send him to Georgia. They were arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim, police said.
Both of them have been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment for further investigation and necessary action.
