675 foreign nationals expelled from Nepal in 18 months

Kathmandu. More than 600 foreign nationals have been deported from Nepal in the last 18 months. According to the Department of Immigration, 675 foreign nationals have been deported in the last 18 months. 

According to the department, 523 foreign nationals were deported in 2025.As of May 25, 2026, 152 foreign nationals have been deported. 

According to the department, most of those deported are those who are working illegally inNepal, according to the department.Some of them were deported after being found involved in illegal activities, the department said.
