Kathmandu. On Thursday, the first day of weekly trading, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall. On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 1.03 points to close at 2,730.91 points.
A total of 5,828,604 units of shares of 339 companies were traded in NEPSE. Shares worth Rs 2.45 billion were traded. Today, the highest turnover was made by Sahas Energy Limited. The company has a turnover of Rs 8.43 crore.
Investors of Ingwa Hydropower Limited were the biggest gainers in Monday’s market. The company’s share price has risen by more than 8 percent.
On the other hand, investors of Nifra Energy Bonds 7%-2085/86 were the biggest losers. The company’s share price fell by more than 5 percent.
