Kathmandu. The government has called on the government to voluntarily give up social security allowances. Presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year, the government has announced a campaign of ‘Let those who can afford it, let those who cannot’ take the social security allowance. 

Under this campaign, financially capable citizens will be able to voluntarily give up social security allowances. 

Finance Minister Wagle has said that the money saved from the social security allowance will be sent to the citizens who are really in need.This is expected to help in the sustainable management of the Social Security Fund.

The government has also announced that the government will provide financial assistance to those who do not receive social security allowance including old age allowance .
