Kathmandu. The employees’ trade union has been dissolved. The government has scrapped the tradeunion of civil servants through an ordinance to amend some Nepal Acts issued by President Ram Chandra Poudel.

With the dissolution of trade unions, the government has made a provision to listen to the complaints of civil servants. Arrangements have been made to listen to the complaints of the employees and inform about it within 15 days.

After the government dissolved the trade unions through an ordinance, the employees organizations have threatened to launch a agitation. Some have already announced their protest programmes.

However, Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that he is trying to get the country out of the party occupation by dissolving the trade unions .‘… This is an attempt to take the country out of the partisan occupation and bring it on the institutional path. This is an attempt to free the school and bureaucracy from the partisan transition. Balen wrote, “Therefore, you have removed these distortions through the {{} Ordinance{{{}. ’

Similarly, Balen has also said that prohibiting party bags in the bureaucracy will not take away rights but will strengthen professional freedom. He further said that method, capacity and efficiency should be the basis of appointment, transfer and promotion, not partisan affiliation.

‘Our only effort is that when students learn politics, learn from the guru, not from the crowd of leaders. The bureaucrats should look for the method, not the shadow of the leader. “We want students to learn politics but the politics of civility, ideas and responsibility. Employees should learn to serve the people, not to any party. This is not a fight against a party. It’s an attempt to save the system. It’s an attempt to save the future. ’
