Kathmandu. The government has announced to sell the shares of Nepal Telecom. Unveiling the budget for the next fiscal year, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has made this announcement.
Wagle has announced that he will retain 66 percent of the shares of the federal government and sell the remaining shares to the general public by mid-January.He said that the proceeds will be used to develop Nepal as a tech hub.
