Kathmandu. Six people have been arrested on the charge of sending women abroad illegally.

The arrestees have been identified as Kedar Bahadur Khadka aka Ashish of Dharmadevi Municipality-9 in Sankhuwasabha, Ishwor Neupane of Barhabise-4 in Sindhupalchowk, Ram Bahadur Chhetri of Gulmi Durbar Ward No. 2 and Prakash Sah of Krishna Sabram-2 in Saptari.

Likewise, Kumar Urau of Sundarharaincha Municipality-4 in Morang and Pashupati Rai of Jantedhunga Rural Municipality-3 of Khotang were also arrested.

All of them were arrested on Wednesday and yesterday. Police have recovered Rs 31.80 lakh in cash from the accused.
