Kathmandu. Ashok Kumar Agrawal has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NIC ASIA Bank.

The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 3 unanimously elected him to the Board of Directors on behalf of the promoter shareholders and the Board of Directors has appointed him as the Chairman for the next four years. On the same day, the newly appointed Chairman of the Nepal Rastra Bank, Mr. Ashok Kumar Agrawal, appointed the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Mr. Dr. Bishwanath Poudel has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

Chairman Ashok Kumar Agrawal has a long experience in the banking and financial sector, insurance and corporate sectors of Nepal and has made a significant contribution to the economic development of the country through his successful leadership.

He believes in long-term planning with high leadership ability, foresight and clear strategy, and during his tenure, the bank is expected to achieve the highest achievements and take the bank to new heights.
