Traders say that with the increase in heat, the demand for fans for homes, offices and business establishments has increased.Fans of various brands imported from India and China are being sold in the market. The price of fans ranges from Rs 700 to Rs 1,500, Rs 1,600 to Rs 3,500, according to traders, who are available from ordinary table fan to fan and wall fan.
According to traders, sales were sluggish a few weeks ago, but now with the increase in summer, daily sales have increased. Customers have been opting for fans that consume less power and provide more air.
As per the Meteorological Statistics, the average maximum temperature in the month of June in Kathmandu is around 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is around 19 degrees Celsius.June is considered to be one of the hottest months in Kathmandu.
According to meteorologists, the temperature may drop a bit along with the rainfallin the coming days as the monsoon is in the process of becoming active.
