Missing gold case at Rastriya Banijya Bank: Bank urges borrowers to postpone agitation until next meeting of directors

Kathmandu. The National Commerce Bank has asked borrowers to suspend the agitation. The bank has issued a notice asking borrowers who have taken loans by pledging gold in banks to postpone their agitation by

The borrowers have been staging a sit-in at the bank’s central office, , Ram Shah Path, {{}, demanding the return of their gold to after the loot of the gold plundered. 

In the meantime, The Bank has issued a notice stating that will provide to the demand of } borrowers Bank Management Sensitive and to the Bank after the completion of the Board of Directors. It has called for support by suspending the agitation till mid-July 2083. 

The notice signed by Devendra Raman Khanal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (CEO) states that the gold and gold ornaments kept by the borrower for security of the loan were looted on September 10 from the Baneshwor branch of the bank .

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held on February 12 decided to compensate the bank at the market value of the date of the robbery.However, the borrowers have been agitating expressing dissatisfaction with the bank’s decision. The notice issued by the bank
