U.S. Lifts Iran’s Frozen Assets, Allows Oil Exports

Kathmandu. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that the United States has issued a general license lifting the ban on the export of Iranian crude oil, petrochemicals and petroleum products. 

With this, Iran’s foreign assets can now be used without hindrance. At a weekly news conference in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail said the U. S. authorization took effect on Monday.

He also said that the two sides have reached a concrete agreement to release the property.“There will be no agreement with either side on Iran’s defensive capabilities and missile program,” the spokesmansaid. He also said Iran had no plans to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to inspect its nuclear facilities, which are said to be targets of Israeli attacks.

The latest developments in the wake of the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Iranian President Massoud and US President Donald Trump on Thursday.The two heads of state signed the memorandum of understanding digitally aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in various areas, including Lebanon.
