About Rs 2 billion paid to sugarcane farmers, remaining to be paid by mid-July

Kathmandu. Farmers in Mahottari district have received payment of around two billion rupees for sugarcane paid to them. Farmers have received payment of Rs 1.76 billion Siddhivinayak and Chemical Industries at Eve rest Municipality-1 and Sugar and Chemical Industries at Gau shala-12 in the district. The records show that the farmers in both the industries have submitted 28,67,986 quintals of 96 kg of sugarcane in the season of the fiscal year 2082/83. 

Kameshwor Yadav, administrative officer of the office, said that out of Rs 1.77 billion for the total price of sugarcane, Rs 1.76 billion has been paid.

Similarly, the government has recommended the Office of Fund and Financial Comptroller Office, Mahottari to pay the grant of to the sugarcane farmers.Yadav said that the District Payment Committee has recommended for the payment of Rs 200 million 759 thousand 117 grant.

There is a payment committee under the chairmanship of the Chief District Officer for recommending payment in the district. According to the District Administration Office, Mahottari, all the payment of the subsidy and subsidy of and will be completed by mid-July.
