Kathmandu. Former Deputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has been sentenced to 4 years in prison in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees. The Kathmandu District Court slapped a four-year jail term and a fine of Rs 40,000 on him.
A single bench of Justice Tej Bahadur Khadka sentenced former home minister Bal Krishna Khand to two years in jail and a fine of Rs 20,000. They have been sentenced to forgery of government documents, forgery and organized crime.
The court also sentenced Rijala to two years in prison and a fine of Rs 20,000 on the charge of forgery, forgery and organized crime. Similarly, Keshav Prasad Dulal, Gyanu Bhandari, Sagar Rai, Sandesh Sharma, Dr. The court sentenced Indrajit Rai, Govinda Kumar Chaudhary, Angdeva Sherma and Tanka Narayan Pandey to four years in jail and Rs 40,000 in fine.
Likewise, the apex court sentenced Shamsher Miya, Hari Bhakta Maharjan, Niranjan Kumar Kharel and Narendra KC to one year in jail and fined Rs 10,000.
