Employees are not allowed to make TikTok and Reels in office attire, they are also banned from posting and sharing content that creates confusion!

Kathmandu. From now on, government employees will not be able to make TikTok and reels in their office attire. The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperative s, Federal Affairs and General Administration has made this provision by issuing the ‘Code of Conduct to be followed by the Employees, 2083’. 

The government has taken action against this trend after complaints that the service was affected due to when employees were busy making and reels and {{} reels}. 

According to the Code of Conduct, employees are not allowed to produce or post any photo or video material other than promotional or educational material or educational during office hours, in the office premises or in the field.

Similarly, the code of conduct states that using Facebook, WhatsApp,TikTok or other social networks should not be used in a manner that does not violate the dignity of the service. 

Apart from this, the code of conduct also prohibits sharing or disseminating misleading content that misinterprets the decisions taken by the government or ministry, defams the employees or creates confusion and mistrust among the citizens.
