Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Friday.
According to the committee, tomato big (Nepali) has been sold at Rs 50 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 15 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 28 per kg, potato red (lamcho) at Rs 47 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 40 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 30 per kg, white potato at Rs 30 per kg and onion dried (Indian) at Rs 55 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been sold at Rs 100 per kg, carrot (terai at Rs 90 per kg), cabbage (local) at Rs 50 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 45 per kg, red radish at Rs 32 per kg, white radish at Rs 20 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 25 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 35 per kg.
According to the committee, beans Rs 35 per kg, maize beans Rs 50 per kg, maize beans Rs 50 per kg, maize beans Rs 140 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 40 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 40 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) Rs 80 per kg, tate beans Rs 60 per kg, soybean kosa Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 30 per kg, gourd Rs 35 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 40 per kg. The price of parwar (Tarai) is Rs 40 per kg, chichindo Rs 30 per kg, ghiraula Rs 40 per kg, jhinguni Rs 40 per kg, Farsi ripe Rs 60 per kg, Farsi green (lamcho) Rs 50 per kg, green farsi (dallo) Rs 30 per kg, okra Rs 35 per kg, sweet potato Rs 120 per kg and pindalu Rs 100 per kg.
Likewise, mustard has been fixed at Rs 40 per kg, spinach at Rs 60 per kg, Chamsur greens at Rs 60 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 50 per kg, onion (green) at Rs 100 per kg, mushroom (girl) at Rs 300 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 450 per kg, king mushroom Rs 300 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Cucumber Rs 300 per kg, Niguro Rs 100 per kg, Broccoli Rs 50 per kg, Beetroot Rs 70 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 250 per kg, Red Cabbage Rs 70 per kg, Jiri Greens Rs 90 per kg, Celery Rs 200 per kg, Parsley Rs 350 per kg, Fennel Greens Rs 60 per kg, Mint Rs 200 per kg, Guantmulla Rs 60 per kg, Tamarind Rs 180 per kg and Copper Rs 160 per kg. Tofu has been fixed at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.
