Kathmandu. A man has been arrested on the charge of his involvement in hundi business worth around two billion.
A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested 49-year-old Rajendra Prasad Rijal of Nagarjun Municipality-8 from the same area.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anupam Shumsher Rana said that he was arrested while analyzing the banking transactions of such suspects based on information that some people were involved in hundi transactions.
According to the preliminary investigation, he had used his personal account in collusion with other people to transact an amount of Rs. 1 billion ninety-nine crore 65 lakh 39 thousand 454 through hundi.
