Three arrested for swindling millions of rupees

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three persons on the charge of swindling money in the name of sending them abroad to different countries on the pretext of lucrative salary. The arrestees have been identified as Dilmaya Gaire, 36, of Banganga Municipality-8, Sandesh Dhungana, 28, of Changunarayan Municipality-5, Bhaktapur and Bishal Khawas Rana, 30, of Rupa Rural Municipality-1, Kaski.

Acting on a complaint filed by the victims, Dilmaya was arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13, Sandesh from Changunarayan Municipality-7 of Bhaktapur and Bishal from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11 acting on the complaint of victims that Sandesh had taken Rs 700,000 from one person in the name of sending him to the United States, Sandesh from Changunarayan Municipality-7 of Bhaktapur and Bishal from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-11

Of them, Dilmaya has been sent to the District Police Range, Kathmandu for necessary investigation while Sandesh and Bishal have been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal, Kathmandu.
