Ex-PM Karki donates one-month pension to flood victims

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister Sushila Karki has donated a month’s pension for the rescue and relief of the flood victims.

According to his secretariat, he has deposited Rs 77,000 as monthly pension in the account of the Rastriya Banijya Bank to be deposited in the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

Former Prime Minister Karki, through an appeal, has stressed the need for all to stand together to overcome the crisis of flood disaster. She has also praised the activism and dedication of all those who are working round the clock in rescue, relief, treatment and rehabilitation and urged all to support the affected families and communities to the best of their ability.
