Miteri Development Bank donates Rs 10 lakh to flood victims

Kathmandu. Miteri Development Bank Limited has provided Rs 10 lakh for search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation in the flood-affected areas of Rasuwa Bhotekoshi River.

The cheque was handed over to Chief District Officer of Sunsari, Ishwori Prasad Aryal, on behalf of the bank’s board of directors and staffers, to be deposited in the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund, according to the bank’s board of directors Kishan Maskey.

According to Maskey, the bank’s board of directors and employees have contributed the amount to support the flood affected people as part of its social responsibility.

Likewise, Ashok Kumar Agrawal, director of Preeti Valve and Fitting Industries Pvt Ltd, Dharan and a member of the board of directors of Miteri Development Bank, handed over a cheque of Rs three lakh to Chief District Officer Aryal to contribute to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
