Kathmandu. The country is currently in crisis. Floods have devastated various parts of the country. Money is being deposited in the government relief fund from abroad. Various banks have also openly supported this work. But at the same time, the help given by Muktinath Bikas Bank to the flood victims has become controversial.

The main root of this controversy is the former chairman of the bank, Bharat Raj Dhakal. He is the former chairman of the bank. He left the bank after the regulator Nepal Rastra Bank took action against him. After that, he contested the election from Syangja and lost the election. He is currently not holding any post of Muktinath Development Bank. But during the transfer of money to the government, he went to take a photo with the Finance Minister. At present, he is not even a director of the bank.

Now Dhakal is known more as a politician than a banker. Many people have also criticized this picture as politics in relief.

In what capacity did Dhakal go to the Finance Minister to take a photo? When we tried to know about this, the information officer of the bank, Til Gurung, did not pick up the phone and Dhakal did not come in contact. Gurung is the same person who was accused of withdrawing money from the promotion budget of the bank to the Congress close to the Congress in the name of media management in Syangja when Dhakal contested the election. Since the time of this allegation, he has not been in touch with other media persons except the certainty. After many people showed interest, the mobile number used by him has also been removed from the bank’s website.

Although the work done by Muktinath Bikas Bank is a good work, many people have said that it is a good work.
