KATHMANDU: Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has decided to issue shares of Mahashakti Cement Limited. An agreement to this effect was signed between Parbat Kumar Karki, executive director of the fund, and Rajaram Khadka, chairman of the cement company, on Friday.

The company is issuing 1,78,50,857 units of shares worth Rs 1,78,50,85,700.

The company has to issue the shares within 6 months from the date of the agreement. If the shares are not issued within that period, then a new agreement should be signed again.
