Families of police personnel killed in floods to get Rs 2 million 40,000 loan from Police Welfare Fund

Kathmandu. The families of the police personnel who lost their lives in the floods in Bhotekoshi will get Rs 20 lakh each. According to the Nepal Police, the families of the police personnel who died in the floods will get Rs 20.40 lakh each.

Out of Rs 20 lakh, Rs 300,000 will be provided from the welfare fund, Rs 40 ,000 from the welfare fund , from the national commercial bank and Rs 200, 000 from the National Insurance Institute.

The families of the deceased police personnel will get an additional Rs 10 lakh from the police as relief. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki.

Similarly, it has been decided to waive the special loan taken by the deceased from the Nepal Police Welfare Fund. On the other hand, the family members of the deceased have also provided skill training and employment to the aspirants.
