Kathmandu. IME Khalti Limited (Khalti) has officially launched the ‘Khalti Hotels’ service. Through this service, users will be able to book and pay for more than 300 300 3-5 star hotels across Nepal instantly from the Khalti app.

This service is operated in technical partnership with Sapphire Management Group Pvt. Ltd. The booking process is fully automated and users will receive an instant booking confirmation as soon as the payment is confirmed. Users who book domestic flights and buses can now book hotels staying at their destinations, so Khalti has now expanded as a platform to manage the entire journey rather than just the payment service.

On the occasion of this service, which started with the campaign ‘Travel More Easy Khalti Mai’, Khalti has also launched an initial offer. Among the users who book hotels during the initial offer period, 20 lucky winners selected through lottery will get a maximum cashback of Rs. 50% cashback up to Rs. 1,500.

Prabin Regmi, Chief Executive Officer of IME Limited, said, “At a time when domestic tourism is growing, the facility of booking flights, bus, and hotels from a single application will be an important step towards our long-term goal of ‘all trips in one app’. ‘

Ashish Prasain, Director of Sapphire Management Group, shared, “This partnership with Khalti will give hoteliers of Nepal direct access to over 10 million digital users, ensuring reliable and certified accommodations for travellers. ‘

The Khalti Hotels service is available in the Travel and Entertainment section of the Khalti app. Customer support service will be available for both users and hoteliers to assist with booking.
