Prabhu Bank Conducts Nationwide Blood Donation Program

Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank Limited has conducted a nationwide blood donation program. The bank has organized a blood donation program in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society in all seven provinces of the country on September 15 with the belief that it will help the injured due to natural disasters and floods in the country.

The bank has been conducting blood donation program in eight branches of the bank including its central office in Bagmati Province, Babarmahal and Narayangadh branch in Bagmati Province, Biratnagar branch in Koshi Province, Simara branch in Madhes Province, Amarsingh Chowk branch in Gandaki Province, Butwal branch in Lumbini Province, Surkhet branch in Karnali Province and Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpaschim Province. A total of 321 pints of blood was collected from participants in all seven provinces.

Earlier, with the aim of providing relief assistance to the families affected and homeless due to the devastating floods, the bank has provided Rs. 2,11,11,11,110 and Rs. 40,80,5050 rupees to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

Likewise, the bank also handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot as part of its corporate social responsibility to provide relief to the flood-affected families.
