Kathmandu. The ‘Road Suggestion App’ has been launched to make the repair of damaged federal roads in the Kathmandu Valley effective. The Road Division Kathmandu under the Ministry of Infrastructure Development has officially launched the app after a successful test.

According to the private secretariat of Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal, the citizens of Kathmandu Valley can register their complaints and suggestions regarding the repair of the roads under the federal roads through App.

Citizens can directly see the process and status of the complaints registered through the app. According to the Road Division Office, Kathmandu, information about the complaints will also be available through the app.

Currently, complaints and suggestions regarding about 472 kilometers of federal roads in the Kathmandu Valley can be registered through the ‘Road Suggestion App’. According to the Road Division Office, Kathmandu, information about the roads that fall under the responsibility of the road will also be provided to the citizens.

Preparations are underway to expand the app nationwide by making the complaint management related to road maintenance more effective. The goal is to expand the service by including Lalitpur and Bhaktapur in the app within the next two weeks and gradually bring it into operation across the country.
