Smart Agro making farmers shareholders through IPO, tremendous leap in business, profit since the opening of the company!

Kathmandu. Smart Agro and Food Industries Limited has made tremendous progress in business expansion. The company, which has been producing and selling rice, wheat, millet, maize, has made tremendous progress in business expansion in recent times.

Santosh Gupta, who has been in the food business for the last 30 years, is the executive director of the company.

Gupta, who has long experience and expertise in the food business, started Agro and Food Industries with Chartered Accountant Anil .

The company, which was initially engaged in the production and sale of rice, wheat, millet, maize, has now been producing rice through Japanese high-end machine (Steam machine).

Gupta, the executive director of the company, said that the rice of Sona, Sonam and and brands produced by the company are being sold across the country. According to Gupta, the company currently employs 100 people directly and 200 indirectly.

Gupta said that on the other hand, company itself is consuming electricity using solar and selling a lot of electricity to the Nepal Electricity Authority. He said that the company is also earning through . According to Gupta, the company has been making profit since its inception.

According to Gupta, the company, which is producing and selling food grains and also buying farmers’ products, has put forward a plan to make farmers the shareholders of the company and provide access to the capital market to the farmers. Necessary preparations are being made for this, said Gupta, the executive director of the company.
