KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradip Poudel has said that the party is effortful to improve the party’s image.

At a greetings exchange programme organized by Nepali Congress Myagde Village Working Committee here today, he said the people still have immense love and faith in NC.

Expressing the view that the party should not get entangled only in the issues of the party by forgetting the national responsibility, General Secretary Poudel said that equal attention should be paid to fulfill the national responsibility by uniting the party.

Stating that the Congress has been continuously fulfilling its responsibility, he said that the Congress is a party responsible for democracy. He said that the government should work so that the people feel the rule of law.

Making it clear that they would not form an alliance in the upcoming local and provincial elections, Poudel said that they have no greed for power. Stressing the need to address the dissatisfaction among the people, he expressed the view that the party would fulfill its responsibility effectively to maintain the trust of the people.
