Kathmandu. It has been found that the bank has taken Rs 20 lakh each from various employees on the condition that they do not file a complaint with the police. The bank has been found to have collected Rs 20 lakh each from various employees on the pretext of filing a complaint against Rosy Kandel who paid Rs 20 lakh, and also against those who did not pay the amount.

The bank has already suspended 9 people for their alleged involvement in the scam. However, it has been found that the bank has extorted money from the employees without conducting an investigation against these 9 people and finding out who is guilty. Although it has been found that there was money irregularity at various stages in the bank scam and the user IDs of many employees were used, the bank has filed a complaint with the police only against Rosy Kande.

The bank, however, claimed that it had filed a complaint against Kandel as he had taken responsibility for all of them. However, this is not legally permitted.

Citizens Bank has been embezzled with a scam of Rs 5 crore in recent times. The depositors’ money has been used by the employees themselves without their knowledge, by making collateral, by taking loans on top of it. The bank has reached the police alleging that Rosy Kandel did not pay all the money on time. In the last one year, two major scams have come to light in Citizens Bank. Earlier, about Rs 3 crore had disappeared from F1soft’s account in Citizens Bank.

However, the Kandel family has filed a case against the CEO of the bank and the police against the agreement ।
