Kathmandu. The statement made public by Nepal Investment Mega Bank a few days ago that the CEO of the bank is active in the work of the bank has been confirmed to be false. The bank had issued a statement claiming that the then CEO of the bank, Jyoti Prakash Pandey, had not left the bank and that he was active in his office work. However, this claim has been proved to be false. At that time, various officials of the bank claimed that the CEO was in the office.

However, Pandey was arrested from Sindhuli on May 29. According to one of the bank’s directors, he left the bank a few days ago saying that he had left the bank. According to the director, the bank does not even know what work he had gone to Sindhuli for. “I don’t know if he went for personal work or if he planned to enter India. ” said the operator.

The bank had said in a statement that it should only confirm the news from official sources. However, after the arrest of the CEO, Information Officer Rajesh Sharma stopped answering the phone.

A few days ago, there was news that Pandey had left the bank. Although it was written that he had left the bank as his resignation had not been officially accepted, the bank had claimed that Pandey was active in the work. Pandey has been suspended automatically after his arrest in a criminal case.

Pandey was arrested from Kamalamai Municipality-6 Bus Park in Sindhuli at around 8 pm on May 10. He is currently in the custody of the CIB.
