Kathmandu. NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has provided Rs 10 lakh for the relief and rehabilitation of the people of flood-affected areas including Rasuwa.

A delegation led by NADA Chairman Surendra Kumar Upreti met Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle and handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to be deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

The amount has been provided to the people affected by sudden and severe floods in Kerung, Rasuwa, Timure and other areas on August 23.

Along with the cash assistance, NADA is also distributing relief materials directly to the flood-affected areas. NADA team has been distributing food and essential items to the people of the affected areas by identifying their immediate needs.

NADA has stated that it will continue to provide cash assistance as well as direct relief and humanitarian assistance as part of its social responsibility to the affected people in this difficult time of disaster.

NADA Vice-President Bikram Singhania, General Secretary Milan Babu Malla, Secretary Meghraj Poudel and Joint Treasurer Nilmani Pathak were present on the occasion.
