Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs 2,11,11,111 for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.

The sudden flood in the Bhotekoshi river, which flows through Rasuwa on the morning of August 10, caused a huge human and physical loss to the settlements on the banks of the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers. The bank has contributed the amount as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to support the search, rescue and relief work of the families affected by the floods.

Suman Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Prabhu Bank, handed over a cheque of Rs 2,

11,11,111 to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle in a program organized at the Ministry of Finance on September 3. He handed over a cheque of Rs 2,11,11,111 to Swarnim Wagle.

Chairman of the Bank Kishor Jung Karki, Director Raju Poudel and Director Dr. Ambika Sharma Lamichhane were also present on the occasion.

Prabhu Bank has expressed its gratitude to the domestic and foreign nationals who lost their lives due to the unimaginable calamity and wishes for the speedy rescue and treatment of the injured and the incommunicado. The bank has also expressed deep condolences to the communities affected by the floods.
