KATHMANDU: Ganesh Sapkota, 40, of Kushadevi in Panauti Municipality-3 of Kavrepalanchowk district has been arrested.

He was arrested on the charge of misusing a public vehicle and misbehaving indecently with the general public at a public place on Saturday, a public holiday.

According to Rabin Bista, information officer at the District Police Office, Kavrepalanchowk, Sapkota was arrested on October 10 and presented to the District Administration Office, Kavrepalanchowk on October 10.

Sapkota has been remanded in custody at the Area Police Office, Banepa after taking permission from the District Administration Office for three days and further investigation is underway, Bista said. According to him, action will be taken against Sapkota on the charge of indecent behavior.
