Kathmandu. Rajan Bikram Thapa has been appointed as the chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority. The cabinet has appointed Thapa as the chairman of the authority.

The government appointed Thapa as the chairman of the NRA based on the recommendation of the chairman selection committee formed by the Ministry of Finance.

Thapa took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle administered the oath of office and secrecy to Thapa.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Finance Minister Wagle also directed Thapa to work fearlessly for the improvement and development of insurance sector.
